The Trout Express School Of Fly Fishing has two courses available.
Instructional Lake Class
This course is a 7 hour private course which includes 1 hour of instruction on knots, casting and equipment. It also includes 6 hours at a lake site. The lake site portion covers reading water, insect hatches and tube fishing. Six flies and a hatch chart included. Entomology kits will be provided, for insect identification. Critiques will also be given on casting.
The cost of this course is $200.00
Equipment rental is available for this course for $60.00 and includes a float tube, waders, fins and a rod and reel with 2 lines.
Basic Fly Fishing Course
The basic fly fishing course is a 3 hour introductory course. This course covers the fundamentals of fly fishing, but does not go into detail on hatches, reading water or knots. The casting portion of the course covers basic pickup, laydown and false casting.
The cost of this course is $90.00
