Flows on the North Fork of the Stanislaus have been bouncing up and down, but should really start to improve as the weather cools off. Nymphing is still the way to go, but throwing large patterns late in the evening has been producing some nice fish.
The East Fork of the Carson, is producing some nice fish on the Catch & Release section. Stimuators have been doing the trick.
There are some good fish being caught in Lake Alpine as well.
If your looking to do a Fall Steelhead trip on the Klamath. Dates are already filling up. Contact Chris Gearhart at Bent Rod Fly Fishing for a great trip.
