We can fish in a diversity of lakes from the Motherlode to the Sierra. New Melones being a main spot in the Motherlode for Bass year-round and Trout in the Fall and Spring. When you need to cool off, we can head to the Sierra and fish for different species of trout in Calaveras, Alpine and Mono County. Heading towards Bishop CA? During Crowley's Fishing Season (April -November), I can meet you there for some of the greatest Eastern Sierra fishing you can experience. Crowley offers all three trout species - Brown, Cutthroat, and Rainbow. I specialize in Fly Fishing and Spin and Baitcasting. We'll be taking out my 2000 Skeeter SX17. All gear and tackle provided. Born and raised in Calaveras County, I've been fishing since I was 5 years old. I landed my first fish in Spicer Reservoir with a Mickey Mouse pole and have been hooked ever since. Since then I have expanded my horizon in the fishing world from learning how to fish with a spinning rod to baitcasters. I've fished many creeks, rivers and reservoirs locally and learned alot along the way. In 2009 I took up fly fishing and learning to tie flys - from your typical and traditional patterns to my own custom baits. Fly Fishing quickly became my passion. Countless days and hours spent learning to cast and figure out what the fish want to eat have given me the knowledge and expertise that I can share with you. Fly Fishing is my specialty, however, if spin and baitcasting is what you're into, I have the gear and knowledge to teach you whatever method you'd prefer. Want to catch bass and trout on the indicator (bobber)? Believe it or not, it's very exhilarating. I also offer stripping on the fly - it will take you for a ride. Then you can say I "Got Hooked"
